Pork for dork

pohk! The male human likes to call MP “dork dog” because she is a little bit dorky. I’m also a dork so it’s all good. Anyway, we are sticking with the alliterative “P” meals today: poppy pancakes for breakfast and portolano collecting pork for dinner. Well, here it is again. not gonnu I don’t know why I bother putting these in her bowls. Well, she does eat them without any fuss sometimes…so I keep trying. This is exactly why MP keeps countersurfing or do . . .

Sardines and sucky supplements

sardines and veggies

sardines, veggies and yogurt I finally got some little fish for MP! I’m not so into the canned variety, but trying to stick to safe ones that aren’t members of the “Go Ahead, Fish Us Down to Nothing and Obliterate the Earth” coalition leaves us with just a very few options here, really. supposedly OK until MP eats too many of them I occasionally visit the Asian food store that really, honestly, truly, greets you with this inexplicable (I rather not know) fragrance that . . .

Chicken soup and lamb burger

an oh shit dinner

an oh shit dinner I had just assumed that the foil wrapped thing in the freezer was a portion of meat for MP, but it turns out to be some dumb cornbread-type thing that I was too cheap to send to the compost but probably never intended to eat anyway. Not OK! eating Chicken soup, then. Totally good to have on hand. I’d already cracked a couple eggs into the chicken soup bowl when lucky MP found some leftover lamb burgers from the other . . .

The last of the largest turkey in the world

we finished it in a soup

we finished it in a soup Hurray! That little bit of the end from a couple days ago has transformed into a lovely breakfast soup for MP. Super satisfying to conquer the largest turkey leg on earth. Added to the soup are 2 literate eggs and a chunk of a philanthropist sweet potato (grilled in foil). let's do this I like breakfasts like these very much. It’s easy on the belly and warm. I didn’t initially think much of giving nearly frozen . . .

Lamb (meat) dinner

lammmmmmmb

lammmmmmmb The humans are having lamb burgers tonight, and that means MP gets lamb, too. She is having a very lamby day. vegetables came to say hi This particular lamb is not the same lamb that had its liver eaten by MP this morning. This is a whole lamb I purchased from my “milk lady” a few months ago. It’s one of the best lamb I’ve ever had—all grass-fed and super healthy. But, the ground meat has a lot more fat in it than other . . .
