Fed on 10/14. We are going to finish up this turkey legging. We won’t be doing the bone because it’s sharp and not good for chewing and swallowing. I might make a little broth with the bone for her depending on how I’m feeling after this. . . .

Fed on 10/12. We are back at the Piz house and the humans are having pizza! That means someone’s going to end up with flour all over her head. And back. You can even see how she was standing underneath the board. MP is chipping away at the Largest Turkey Leg on Earth IV. gimme There should be one more meal left in this guy after this dinner. MP had a nice quiet ride on our way home tonight. When I was unhooking . . .

Holy unusually warm week (80s!!) for October in Minnesota! It’s pretty much nuts. Since I’m not from here and therefore was not born equipped with whatever it takes for this type of climate, I basically shut down and give up while it is cold and resume life when I thaw in spring (effing July). . . .

We are going to finish up the Largest Turkey Leg on Earth III today. We have enough calcium from the veggie mix and the leg bones can be shardy, so MP will just pull and tear off the meat. This still was a ton of meat so I stopped her before it was all gone and made a little snack soup she can have later. Now for the food that smells like farts. . . .

The Largest Turkey Leg on Earth is back! At this point, I can no longer tell if this one is bigger or smaller than the previous ones, but they are ridiculously large and super meaty. These turkeys too came from Whole Foods, which means that they consider themselves socially conscious but you may find antibacterial soap in their kitchens, along with virgin wood towel-like toilet paper in their bathrooms for the one-time contact with their precious assholes. These are turkeys who buy organic apples from the other side of the globe “for their kids and not for anyone else.” (Hey man, I bought them at Whole Foods; I’m just talking about the turkeys.) . . .

now this big Again, because I’m a hack, I just stuck the leftover Second Largest Turkey Leg on Earth uncovered and as-is in the fridge. So, now it’s all leathery and dry. Turkey jerky again, MP! It’s still kind of big, so we are going to do about half of it today. Let’s do this thing. As you can see from all my posts, I can barely manage to take pictures. The male human is a very talented professional photographer, but I don’t know . . .

2nd largest turkey leg in the world This is the second largest turkey leg in the world. Comparing pictures, it almost looks like this is the bigger one. But let’s just roll with this one being second. all meat Like the previous turkey, this one grew up with season tickets to the orchestra, and it had an interest in rain gardens. I don’t know if those things are attributable to the size of these legs, but it may have ran track a season or . . .

we finished it in a soup Hurray! That little bit of the end from a couple days ago has transformed into a lovely breakfast soup for MP. Super satisfying to conquer the largest turkey leg on earth. Added to the soup are 2 literate eggs and a chunk of a philanthropist sweet potato (grilled in foil). let's do this I like breakfasts like these very much. It’s easy on the belly and warm. I didn’t initially think much of giving nearly frozen . . .

huge turkey leg finally defrosted I never thought this would happen, but it actually only took a couple days. The huge turkey leg has defrosted and it’s ready to go into the MP belly. This is a turkey I got from Whole Foods: Therefore, it did not come from a proper Wellstonian family and possibly belonged to a Greek system in college. I’m sure it probably drank bottled water (how unaware!) and used styrofoam without cringing. But, overall, I’d say the Whole Foods turkeys are still well-meaning . . .
