Green swamp breakfast Green swampy breakfast with kefired oatmeal and an egg! The swamp ink is from the chlorophyll. I crushed the brazilnut with my big knife, just like I would do with stuff like garlic. It was SO easy. And here I was, busting them up on the counter (and even on the concrete outside!) with a hammer and all. Jeez. Swamp rat Dinner is a nice little bowlful . . .

Fed on 4/26. We’re getting fresh raw milk again! Excited to start making clabber, yogurt, kefir, and more! . . .
Fed on 4/4. I might try fermenting veggies instead of juicing the next batch. I wonder if my totally neglected and deprived kefir grains are still alive? . . .

Fed on 12/05, Sunday. Beef kefir for breakfast! I sort of forgot about this batch of kefir so it got a little more tart than usual. Although I don’t like to drink it this sour, stronger kefir usually means a lot more vitamin Bs and some other good things. In any case, MP likes it and it looks like something that would make my human friends puke, so it’s a perfect meal. . . .

I promise that MP likes ACV in her food! She loves sour things, just like I do. We like all things pickled, fermented, soured! This is a very nice goat herding oatmeal that was soaked and cooked in kefir and chicken broth, cooled down with frozen bonnet tossing wild blueberries (convenient manganese pellets!). I put a little coconut oil in there, too. Now for the fun. Blender View!! . . .
fresh milky oatmeal Fed on 9/27. Oatmeal breakfast! I just got my milk on Friday and it was just so yummy and fresh that I decided to make her a milky breakfast. I usually stick to yogurt and kefir for her, but this is fresh milk and she does really well on it. with everything I soaked the oats in a little kefir, then cooked the oatmeal lightly. It’s the thick kind of oats, but it’s pretty much soft without much cooking at all . . .

Fed on 09/21. We’re trying to get back into the swing of things, so a stinkasaurus tripe and yogurt breakfast is a good way to do it. I made fresh yogurt overnight. So yummy and full of probiotics! I have kefir brewing, too. It’s so easy and cheap that even I can do it. . . .
breakfast Sometimes, chicken soup is an easy and yummy meal. I only had huge hunks of meat in the freezer and a few chicken legs. Since the legs have sharper bones than other parts, a soup would have been easier on the belly than a RMB. Plus, MP loves her soup breakfasts. supplements good belly homemade yogurt MP gets her supplements pretty much every day. This time, it’s a turmeric bromelaine blend (since I’ve been noticing that she walks a little wonky . . .
