Fed on 8/9, Tuesday. Flax and beef heart for breakfast. Since it came from Mindy, it was a big, healthy heart! I love hearts. I like things that feel like half something and half another. Heart = organ = muscle! I like platypus (don’t make me find out if it’s platypi!) for similar reasons, although they are like five different things into one cute nuttiness. Fed on 10/01. You know I’m not a food waster, so I’m forever grateful for a Maisy Pancakes who eats anything that is for whatever reason not as good for two-leggers to eat. It’s not like I give her rotten food—I just have stuff like very soft pears from Piz’s tree and I didn’t feel like a smoothie. . . .

hearts and all Fed on 09/07. Awesome Mindy‘s chief of staff chicken hearts for breakfast! Because I don’t like to go too heavy for breakfasts, I tend to use a lot of poultry or fish—but these chicken soup breakfasts are kind of getting boring (to post about) and I’m always out of fish. Life so hard! Anyway, hearts are basically perfect—not too heavy like liver and other organs since it’s all muscle and all. MP does really well on them. Here, she’s getting veggie . . .
