Healthy breakfast Fed on 9/18, Sunday. MP is getting a very pretty and healthy breakfast smorgasbord. Turkey, cottage cheese, egg, veggies, flax, and a spoonful of coconut oil! Breakfast eyes Coconut oil is awesome. I use it in and out: I eat it, and also on my skin by itself or made into creams. Whole Foods used to have the best price for the unfiltered/”unprocessed” kind, but they’ve been out for a while now—something about a supplier problem. I’ve since found awesome prices on . . . → Read More: Turkey turkey, shopping smart
Fed on 11/26, Friday. Today was Black Friday, and although we are so not like that (= too damn lazy), I saw on a flier that these stuffing-less toy was on sale for $1.99 at the intimidatingly glamorous store called Menards, and told Piz that we are going to get a few for the toy-appreciating Pancake dog. Someone recently mentioned that this whole dog food makin’ sounds expensive. But it ain’t so! I’m self-employed, which can mean pretty much the same as frickin’ unemployed for eff’s sake *in this ecoooonomyyyy* (you have to say it like THAT), making it just about a necessity to be a frugal noodle butthole. In fact, I am not sure if I have ever bought anything that wasn’t on sale or comparatively cheaper by default in some way. This carries over to pretty much anything that can be bought. . . . → Read More: Keepin’ it cheapish (and just a little preachyish) pohk Repeating meals make me feel kind of guilty. (She had pork last night, too.) Oh well. This was an awesome portraitist pork steak. I got two meals out of this big ol’ thing. I cut off the fatty fat on the ends and everything. It was on sale, too! When I don’t have freezer space or a whole pig or whole anything, I’ve found pretty damn good meat sales at Whole Foods. One December, they were selling all their turkey legs and . . . → Read More: More pork for dork dinner |
