Fresh milky breakfast

Fed on 12/1, Wednesday. Since it’s winter and all, I decided to break up my brown rice with umeboshi and miso soup routine with some 10-grain warm cereal. I used to think these warm cereals were totally grody until about two years ago. Now I like them. Anyway, I figured I’d share the goobob with MP. She got a little fresh milk and coconut oil with the veggies, too. The good thing about this breakfast is that I can rest MP’s belly from big heavy meaty meals she’s been having lately. Even with the fish oil, you end up with a wonky balance between all the omega oils unless you keep track of it all. . . .

I was actually hoping to have found some decent canned oysters for her, but none of the stores had the kind that weren’t ‘roided up and ruining the earth. Chicken livers aren’t too high in copper, so that’s what we’ll do for breakfast. Served raw this morning. Speaking of ‘roided up oysters, I saw the largest oysters (as in, WTF) I’ve ever seen at this cute little (for a chain) outdoor fish joint. . . .

hearts and all Fed on 09/07. Awesome Mindy‘s chief of staff chicken hearts for breakfast! Because I don’t like to go too heavy for breakfasts, I tend to use a lot of poultry or fish—but these chicken soup breakfasts are kind of getting boring (to post about) and I’m always out of fish. Life so hard! Anyway, hearts are basically perfect—not too heavy like liver and other organs since it’s all muscle and all. MP does really well on them. Here, she’s getting veggie . . .
