More chicken in the belly!
We changed up this chicken thing a little bit this morning with some of Piz’s sprouts! He said he grew too many trays at once so she can have some if she likes. She likes!
You know what else got changed up a little is a pan of brown rice in this heavy-ass Le Creuset thing. I don’t even remember where we went for how long, but I had a moment of panic when I realized that we did not put away the brown rice that was made in this super heavy dutch oven or whatever it’s called. It was pushed to the back of the oven but depending on her mood, I was convinced she could get it. Piz, of course, thought it would be OK.
When we returned, we found the pot *inside the oven*, waaaaay in the back, *upside down*. I am not sure how the glass on the oven door didn’t break (THANK GOD), but from assessing the crime scene, it appears that:
- She opened the oven door
- Stood on it (for height)
- Pull, pull, pulled the pot towards her
- Knocked the lid off
- Somehow ended up dropping/pulling the pot onto the oven door,
- *miraculously didn’t break anything*,
- Undeterred, she push, push, pushed the pot with her nose into the oven while trying to eat the contents (I think the pot fell upside down)
The kettle was also about to fall from the stove, which isn’t nearly as big a deal but still not nice or safe. I just can’t believe how the glass didn’t break and how no one got their toes crushed. The Le Creuset thing weighs about as much as MP! OK, maybe not as much as MP, but seriously, A LOT.
With her chicken dinner, MP got the rest of the rice that was stuck to the pot and risked her life to steal.
Today’s dog food (and snacks!):
