Breakfast beef, cheese of the cottage in chicken soup

Fed on 1/24, Monday

I actually remembered to thaw out the meat ahead of time, so it’s served chilled and raw. The powder on top is probiotics. Jarrow is one of our favorite kinds, and it so happened to be on sale at Whole Foods; it was “online” price! (About $15.) This is the kind:

I also use the NOW brand powder. Although MP likes both kinds just the same (I think…), the Jarrow tastes a lot better to me. It’s also a much finer powder, which makes it a little hard to deal with unless you use a little spoon and actually measure (which, I’m sure the whole world has no problem doing). I’m a lazybones so I like to pour it in the lid (at best) or tap it on the bowl rim and hope for the best (not recommended). In any case, I prefer the powder (non-capsule, etc.) because it’s about 1/10 of the price, and you can measure how much you want to use. Definitely don’t buy anything that says it’s for pets. That goes for any supplement, really.

Dinner is very rich chicken soup with cottage cheese. I don’t think I’ve fed cottage cheese since the start of Countersurfer! MP used to get it all the time. I stopped buying much dairy (at least stuff that I can make) since I got hooked up with bad-ass fresh milk, so maybe that’s why.

What MP Ate:

  • beef
  • chicken soup
  • cottage cheese
  • yogurt
  • burdock
  • veggie mix
  • coconut oil
  • flax tortilla
  • tomato
  • clementines
  • banana
  • pizza crust
