Morning and Always bananas, plus chicken

Every morning, MP goes out for potty and gets a little morsel of a treat. Sometimes it’s a bite of leftovers from the night before, sometimes it’s an almond. Dollops of yogurt work, too. Most of the time, though, it’s a piece of banana. She looooooves bananas.

Bananas appear all over the place on the MP food pyramid. All the frozen Kongs pretty much have banana as the base, and she gets one of those almost everyday. Banana pieces can hold grody supplements inside, and even get smeared all over a cutting board or the fridge door when we Dremel the nails. They do a lot of the pacifying work around here, so seeing bananas makes me happy.

I eat them, too, in things like yogurt. I also like to eat them in the car and terrorize unsuspecting drivers. Only on the highways, though. (I’m kidding! I have TMJ.)

Anyway! Today, MP gets chicken (again!) with the new veggies. I have about 3 more legs left, so I’ll be using those up in the next few days. In case you’re keeping track.

I’ve got two banana eaters and one banana hater. Did you know you can use bananas to slow down runny poo? I just learned that and was like “wow… didn’t know that…”

(Also, I just spelled banana wrong three times. English degree fail.)

Because I’m a grody, I immediately pictured slowing down runny poop with a banana. (I’m so, so sorry.)

You mean like pumpkin? I didn’t know that either, but it makes sense—that whole fiber business. Thanks for the tip, Paige!
