Hearts all day, I always pull the weird card

Fed on 11/25, Thursday & Thanksgiving.

Because I’m superlame, I didn’t prepare some sort of Thanksgiving feast for MP. Everyone (naturally) asked me what MP is getting for her Turkey day meal, too. Fggrt!

Instead of a special meal, she just got hearts all day. They are Awesome Mindy’s hearts, so that makes it OK that she ate the same thing twice today. It doesn’t make it all that OK that she was left alone for a very long time, however (we came home once to let her out and give her dinner). Poor No Thanksgiving Maisy Pancakes.

The humans, on the other hand, had a fun and delicious Thanksgiving at Piz’s parents’ near the city. We played lots of games, including this one kind where you pull a card from a stack and answer whatever super benign question is on it. By super benign, I mean things like, “What is your favorite food?” to the most possibility for awkwardness being “What’s the most embarrassing thing your parents have done?” See? However, because all I ever do is end up with the weirdest shit, I drew the card that read, “Have you ever experienced prejudice? When, and what was it like?” Really?

I actually didn’t even end up going through my list of “experiences” (starts pretty strong with The South period) because it was just too weird for the entirely not-of-color-except-Nana table. Lots of laughs.
