Fed on 9/25, Sunday.It’s a chicken day because Awesome Mindy so very generously shared us some super awesome chickens. They’re the best!! I put one in the pressure cooker and just stewed it whole. We got all the collagen and good stuff out of the bones to be delivered into the belly of six legs.
We’re making veggie mix with all farm garden veggies! There’s mustard greens (not at all spicy for some reason, and the only truly hands-off and prolific crop we had), acorn squash (so cute!!) and okra (yes!!). I blended the squash seeds in because they’re a great source of zinc and other minerals.
And these were the stubbiest, funniest looking and the best tasting carrots, ever! They were super delicious raw and cooked.
Dinner is pretty much the same thing but with oysters!
