Fed on 12/3, Friday.
We are at Piz’s this morning very early because we’re going on a little road trip to help his super-awesome aunt and uncle move. I think they’re about 2 hours away. That means we’ll be gone for about (oh no…) 6.5 hours (POOOOOOR MAISY PANCAKES!!). To help minimize trauma, I prepared 2 frozen Kongs that are more meal-like than the usual banana and yogurt kind. Hence, the “That’s it?!” breakfast.
(By the way, fellow dog people totally know that quick math we do: Calculate round trip travel time and see how much “usable” time is left.)
One Kong was packed with steak and baked potato (leftovers!) and the other one with banana and broccoli (it’s fine!). Every once in a while, I’d come home to find that MP had waited to finish her Kongs until I got home. This gives me the sads because I am afraid that she was too sad to eat them alone. As you all know by now, she’s not an “I’m not hungry right now” kind of fourlegs. I need to get a surveillance camera to find out for sure if she’s sad or doing something else, like countersurfing.
Dinner is wormy necks. She got some veggie mix, too.
Only a few hours after our return from breaking our backs for many hours, we head out again to our filmmaker/lawyer friend Towle’s house for a True Grit (the original) screening and discussion with a bunch of fellow filmy people. Most of us in the group worked on a Western short that Towle directed for a film festival. The plan is to go see the new one as a group and talk about the two versions some more.
I’ll spend a lot of fun time with MP tomorrow to make up for today. Poor fuzz Pancakes.
What MP Ate:
- veggie mix
- chicken necks
