Fed on 6/8, Friday.
More beef! I finally got around to freezing the rest of the package. However, we ended up with a tiny little portion that would make about half of a meal. I decided to soak-ferment it in some kefir and whey since I have plenty of both.
Well, that was morning. Now that it’s later in the day, it became apparent that something (likely a bully stick, but not sure) has been making weird farts all day. I say weird because they don’t smell like her normal farts (which are bizarrely NOT stinkyand I’m not saying it just because I’m her momma) and they smell like there is a small mouse that has set up a non-standards compliant sewage company inside. The stink is actually more intriguing than it is gross. It doesn’t “just stink” is what I’m trying to say. It seems to have meaning. Anyway, that’s why she’ll be having just some veggie broth and slippery elm and maybe digestive enzymes until the farts go away (preferably with an inspectable poop). It also means that I won’t be able to eat anything she might want. It’s just how it is.
Today’s dog food:
- beef
- wild blueberries
- veggie mix
- sweet potatoes
- slippery elm
- broth
