Fed on 1/24, Monday I actually remembered to thaw out the meat ahead of time, so it’s served chilled and raw. The powder on top is probiotics. Jarrow is one of our favorite kinds, and it so happened to be on sale at Whole Foods; it was “online” price! . . .

Fed on 1/22, Saturday New veggie mix day! This batch is made up of an a capela ensemble of gobo, dino kale, celery, apple, sweet potato, almonds, eggshells, magnesium. The charts are here: New veggie mix nutritional analysis. . . .

Weekend Movies! MP can boink straight up to a fairly high surface. She doesn’t go front-first or anything; she actually four-leg boinks, like those goats! Anyway, I had my scarf on the desk and she hopped right on it because it’s super soft and perfect for a dog butt. Here’s a couple of stills for everyone without a VCR! . . .

Fed on 1/21, Friday. Turkey yogurt with veggie mix for breakfast. This turkey was fermented in apple cider vinegar for just a day. I don’t know if it actually did anything, but MP liked it fine, so that’s good. . . .

Fed on 1/20, Thursday. Steel drums oats and calypso eggs for a Maisy Pancakes breakfast! We’d been in middle of a cold-as-eff week, and the minus-wha? temps have brought out the Fairies of Inefficient Windows to Piz’s bedroom windows. They only visit homes that have original windows of yore, where they can come and go as they please due to the lack of insulation. But what they do give us in return is the prettiest ice crystal decorations. I guess they are called “ice flowers”—which is sweet and straightforward. . . .

Fed on 1/19, Wednesday Sunday. It’s soups all day! Gobo and chicken for breakfast and dinner. In fact, it is chickens forever, because I scored a could-be-mislabeled-but-that’s-not-really-my-fault supply of Kadejan chicken legs from a faraway co-op. It was stickered “Priced to Move!” at 99 cents/lb. . . .

Fed on 1/18, Tuesday. Turkey and kale for breakfast. Here is MP’s shiny, cold, chewy, sweet and salty nose looking like a very large black olive from a super special store. I think all her parts look like food. So, sometimes I lick her nose. Surprisingly (?), I rarely get a response from my nose licks. You’d think she’d say something. . . .

Fed on 1/17, Monday. More turkey! MP is feeling and acting fine, so this is a good breakfast for an overnight pads eater. Although I haven’t found her pads poop yet, Piz’s yard isn’t really set up for “poop watching”—so everything just sinks to the bottom of snow. I don’t think I will find it unless she brings it to me. . . .

Fed on 1/16, Sunday. Breakfast is hand-wash only turkey lightly coddled with Tan Yu Tang and veggie mix. That was normal. If you think girls are gross, this is where you should stop reading. See you tomorrow . . .

Fed on 1/15, Saturday. Blueberrying tofu for breakfast. I just got my Chinese herbs from Dr. Janna and the brown powdery stuff you see on top is that. She’ll be on a formula called Tan Yu Tang for a month, and then a different one for another month. Dr. Janna told us that it’s supposed to “transform phlegm, but also drain Damp, clears Heat, and Moves.” . . .
